It was my birthday on a few days ago and guess what I'm a potterhead now!!! and also, my mother gave me the best gift ever, an instagram account!!!
But you know what....Birthdays are stressful... and here's why
Birthdays are stressful for both the parent and the child..
In my case when I was a little younger I started the birthday countdown months before, but as you grow older this curiosity decreases..(anxiousness> stress)
you are asked loads of questions. Like you just suddenly turned into, whom?, some great celebrity!!! aunties, uncles, friends basically everyone.. its like you are in an apocalypse of people who want to know all sorts of things.. and when i say all sorts, I mean all sorts ..... and then a day or two later you are back at square one, that same old unpopular person.
Maybe you are an AMBIVERT (extrovert-cum-introvert)... you are the life of the party at the start but eventually you come to know the place has turned into a zoo, you curl up into your cozy nook and think of your fiends and then just minutes later of your existence........
the wishes are not that tough to handle compared to the other tasks. you might be wished at 12 midnight or maybe even at 11:59 p.m. ...whenever the wish comes if you don't show your gratitude towards them, especially if its an aunty or an uncle the you have absolutely no idea of what is going to happen when you meet them next.
the parents have tougher time. Especially the mother, clean the house cook the food, send the invitations, decide the party games, get return gifts, the list is endless....
now, the next day the clean up
your house will look less like a house and more like a dumpster. gift wrappers all over, plastic cups, plates ......
well, this is usually the next day so you are no more the birthday child so no one thinks twice before scolding you for being too lazy not to clean up. eventualy you will clean he whole place up and your mother will be satisfied. then if you are like me youll go an eat your cake and enjoy till your next birthday. whatver cause I might come up with, but when you enjoy the party, you enjoy it......
so whoever has their birthday next, happy birthday and hang on there. meet you next week with another topic till then goodbye.
